Prevent downtime with anti-loss tools
With Zebra’s Virtual Tether, both the cradle and scanner will alert users when a device is taken out of range or left out of the cradle for an extended period. As a result, you won’t have to worry about a customer accidentally leaving self-checkout with a cordless scanner in their cart or an associate misplacing a scanner in the backroom. And if a DS817 8 is lost, simply press the cradle’s paging button to locate it.
